TORONTO, November 29, 2018 \u2013 Woodbine Entertainment announced today that the 160th running of the $1 million Queen\u2019s Plate, first jewel of the Canadian Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing, will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto.<\/span><\/p>\n

North America\u2019s oldest continuously-run stakes event showcasing Canada\u2019s top three-year-old Thoroughbreds is the highlight of Woodbine\u2019s Queen\u2019s Plate Festival.<\/span><\/p>\n

Annually one of Toronto’s must-attend events of the summer, the 2019 Queen’s Plate Racing Festival will begin on Friday, June 28 and run through Saturday, June 29. The fashion-forward festival will feature world-class horse racing, live entertainment and delicious dining experiences.<\/span><\/p>\n

Queen\u2019s Plate Festival tickets can be purchased beginning December 6, 2018 on Ticketmaster.ca.\u00a0Fans are encouraged to buy tickets early to\u00a0secure the best seats before they sell out and lock in the best prices of the year, with reserved grandstand seating starting at just $40 (for a limited time).<\/span><\/p>\n
