TORONTO, August 12, 2024 \u2013 The post-position draw and luncheon for the 165th<\/sup> running of The King\u2019s Plate is set to take place Tuesday at Woodbine Racetrack.<\/p>\n

The event, which is open to media and the connections of horses running in this year\u2019s race, will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Trackside Clubhouse.<\/p>\n

Natalie Spooner, the inaugural MVP of the PWHL and a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, will be the special guest assisting with the draw.<\/p>\n

The 165th<\/sup> King\u2019s Plate, which is contested for a purse of $1 million, will take place this Saturday (August 17).<\/p>\n
