MILTON, April 17, 2018 – Woodbine Mohawk Park is pleased to once again offer summer series for two-year-old pacers and trotters. The Dream Maker (2-year-old Pace), Whenuwishuponastar (2-year-old Filly Pace), Define The World (2-year-old Trot) and Pure Ivory (2-year-old Filly Trot) are all back in 2018 and take their usual spots on the stakes calendar in late-July and throughout August. These summer series offer great racing opportunity for rookies and have been used by many as a stepping stone towards the Grand Circuit. The list of past winners is quite impressive with superstars Thinking Out Loud (2011 Dream Maker), Wheeling N Dealin (2012 Define The World), L A Delight (2015 Whenuwishuponastar) and Alarm Detector (2017 Define The World) as just a few of the notable past champions. Each series will feature two $14,000 preliminary legs and a $25,000 added final. The nomination fee for each event is $200 CAD ($165 USD). Nominations close May 15, 2018.
