CAMPBELLVILLE, June 1 – The month of June has arrived and with its arrival comes changes to Mohawk Racetrack’s live racing, qualifying and training schedules. Starting next week, Tuesdays will be added to the live racing schedule for the duration of the meet. The first Tuesday card is on June 6 and the entry box closes tomorrow morning (Friday, June 2) at 10:30 a.m. The qualifying schedule for Mohawk will also see several changes. Starting next week, qualifiers will be offered on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. However, Tuesday qualifiers will be for three-year-olds and up, while Friday and Saturday qualifying sessions will be restricted to two-year-olds. The entry box for Tuesday qualifiers closes Monday at 10:30 a.m., while the entry box for Friday and Saturday baby races closes Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. Mohawk’s training schedule also will have a slight tweak beginning next week. The track and paddock will now be open every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon. The track will be closed on Sundays and Mondays.
