May 5 – Each week, Woodbine’s head clocker Ernie Perri will comment on some of the top workouts watched by the clocking team, highlighting horses to key on in upcoming races at Woodbine. [Track ratings based on a scale of 1-5 with ‘1’ being the slowest.] Saturday, Race 7 – Hailey’s Prize Ernie said: On May 1, Hailey’s Prize worked in 1:00 flat and out in 1:13.60. Galloped better than the company she worked with on a foggy and wet day. Track was quick rated 4. Saturday, Race 9 – Lillz Pearl Ernie said: "On April 30, Lillz Pearl worked with Helen Vanek aboard in :48 flat. Very honest work for an honest horse. After the break, track rated 3.5." Saturday, Race 5 – Soul N Spirit Ernie said: "On April 5, Soul N Spirit worked in :48.40 and again on April 15 in 1:00.80. Both works late in the day usually, comes out when not busy.
