Grey Dragon made a great first impression when the 2-year-old daughter of Frac Daddy won Sunday’s third race, a 5 ½-furlong event on the Tapeta. The grey is bred Goldmart Farms, who co-owns with Royal Laser Inc. Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame inductee Robert Tiller is the trainer.
Canadiansweetheart, at 36-1, pulled off the upset in Saturday’s Sweet Briar Too Stakes. It was the eighth career triumph and first stakes crown for the 3-year-old daughter of Ransom the Moon. Renico Lafond trains for owner Kris Manohar. Leo Salles mapped out the winning trip.

War Bomber (IRE), under Rico Walcott, fended off a stubborn foe in Treason to take Saturday’s $200,000 (G2T) King Edward Stakes. Owned by Bruno Schickedanz, the son of War Front-Sun Shower (IRE) now has seven career victories from 19 starts. The 5-year-old was bred by Coolmore.
Airosa, with Rafael Hernandez in the irons, found daylight along the rail, and rocketed home for an impressive win in the $125,000 Catch A Glimpse Stakes on Sunday. The dark bay daughter of Uncle Mo-Mrs. Hudson is now 2-0-0 from three starts for trainer Kevin Attard and owners X-Men racing 3, StarLadies Racing, Madaket Stables LLC, and SF Racing LLC.
