Lisa Headrick joins Woodbine Entertainment Executive Leadership Team

TORONTO, January 23, 2024– Woodbine Entertainment today announced the appointment of Lisa Headrick to Executive Vice President, Finance, Strategy and Operations.

“Lisa brings incredible depth and experience to the Woodbine leadership team,” Woodbine Entertainment CEO Michael Copeland shared. “We are excited to have her join our team and help lead our business and the horse racing industry to ambitious, new heights.”

Formerly a Vice President of Finance at Loblaw Companies Limited, Headrick led Finance for the Discount Grocery Retail Division and prior to that, the E-Commerce and Loyalty (PC Optimum) segments.

Previously, Headrick spent over 20 years at Celestica, an international design, manufacturing, and supply chain solutions company. She most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer, Connectivity and Cloud Solutions, a $4 billion dollar segment of Celestica.

Headrick is a Chemical Engineering graduate of Queen’s University, and holds an MBA from Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.

Headrick completes the newly reorganized Woodbine Entertainment Executive team led by CEO Michael Copeland, who was appointed in 2023. Also reporting to Copeland is Bill Ford, General Counsel and Executive Vice President Racing, Chris Lush, Executive Vice President Technology and Core Wagering, David Vivenes, Executive Vice President Brand and Experience, and Monte McNaughton, Executive Vice President Industry Relations and People Experience.
