Under the direction of the Director, Property Services & Facilities Management Operations within the Property Services division, the Senior Manager, Property Infrastructure will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Property Infrastructure asset management strategy as part of the Woodbine Entertainment Group development strategy. This includes developing processes, investigating business software, and establishing a centralized asset management and capital planning approach for the property development assets. Working closely with the Project Management Office, Property Development, Business Operations,  Finance, and Facility Management teams, the Senior Manager will also be responsible for overseeing the development of the capital program, ensuring integration and continuity with the asset management strategy and preventative maintenance plans related to the development’s property infrastructure assets. Overall, this is an exciting opportunity to enact change and establish the framework and structure to allow the Woodbine Entertainment Group to implement true life-cycle asset management of its property development infrastructure assets.


·  Develops and implements detailed plans and recommends policies related to property infrastructure asset management
·  Develops, implements and manages the property infrastructure asset management business process, which would include Policy, Framework and Roadmap for implementation
·  Leads the change management activities with regards to integrating a structured asset management process and framework
·  Provides overall guidance and advice on the strategic asset management strategy
·  Oversees the development of Asset Life Cycle Plans for the property infrastructure and associated assets within the development. facilities
·  Identifies infrastructure renewal needs to optimize life cycle costing, incorporates financial modelling risk assessment, schedules, and implements cash flow requirements
·   Leads assessment studies and other infrastructure planning studies related to Woodbine’s assets, to identify short- and long-term needs, leading to the preliminary designs for capital works
·   Leads the development of Asset Life Cycle Plans for each aspect of infrastructure and associated assets and develops Capital Plans for assets
·   Develops, recommends, and administers the annual budget for the property infrastructure, and ensures that the expenditures are controlled and maintained within approved budget limitations
·   Develops, manages, and reports on internal and external Asset Management benchmarking to track and report on asset management plans implemented within Woodbine Entertainment
·   Oversees asset planning information management including updating infrastructure data, infrastructure condition assessments, risk assessments, life cycle costing and integration of activity and costing.
·   Leads strategic planning and infrastructure planning activities associated with property infrastructure assets.
·   Maintains up to date knowledge of emerging practices, concepts and industry drivers that may impact asset management and/or may need to be implemented organizationally
·   Monitors the utilization of the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in support of asset management data analysis.
·   Arranges for investigations and prepares reports on technical matters
·   Represents Woodbine Entertainment on internal and external committees, outside agencies, regulatory bodies and industry resources related to asset management
·   Prepares technical reports related to asset management.
·  Provides leadership and establishes and maintains partnerships with internal and external users and stakeholders


·   Demonstrated knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Human Rights Code, and any other relevant legislation.
·   Experience managing long term capital planning process specific to property asset management including capital renewal, replacement, and expansion costs
·   Knowledge of work order system business processes with considerable knowledge of Asset Management information systems, CMMS, reliability programs, and business software implementation and change management
·   Experience in the development, implementation, and management of an Asset Management System business process master plan
·   Demonstrated experience in life cycle asset management processes within a diverse portfolio with knowledge of strategic asset management concepts and benefits

·    Leadership skills necessary to motivate, coach, develop, evaluate employees, as well as facilitate and resolve conflicts
·    Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and management skills.

Education and Experience
·     University degree in Planning, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities, Construction or a suitable equivalent combination of education and experience.
