What we need from you
 
To be a passionate and engaging leader who will live and breathe our values and beliefs and take a surgical approach throughout our diverse event initiatives. We will need you to be a project and event management champion who will listen and connect with our stakeholders and aspire to wow every guest. With guest experience always at forefront, the focus of this role is to attract new audiences, exceed their expectations, increase repeat attendance, enhance Woodbine’s bottom line and solidify its place as an entertainment powerhouse.
 
 
What your day to day will look like:
 
Developing event strategies, planning, execution and budgeting for the Woodbine and Woodbine Mohawk Park events are the imperative functions that will define your days. Building relationships with external suppliers and partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure all required support is in place for superior execution will also be key. Being a coach and mentor to our Events team and helping them achieve their professional goals is also a critical component of this role.
