JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Supervisor, Hospitality Gaming Operations, this position is responsible for the VIP F&B Services on the VIP Gaming floors. The services are primarily but no limited to providing the complimentary beverage service to our VIP gaming floor guests as well as offering a variety of F&B services to the VIP locations and private rooms. The VIP Server is also responsible to restock their work station as required and maintain a clean and organized workstation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Share our story, educate the guest on menu options.
• Make it a win, support the experience by knowing your guest and anticipate their needs.
• Leave them wanting more, educate our guests on upcoming events.
• Demonstrate courtesy, commitment and professionalism.
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide friendly, professional and enthusiastic service at all times.
• Provide discrete and professional attention to all guests upon arrival.
• Take and serve all beverage and cocktails and relay to bar/kitchen using the POS system.
• Be accessible at all times to ensure your guests have a winning experience.
• Accurately verify prices, taxes on all checks.
• Record all sales and collect payment and remit deposit as required.
• Adhere to Smart Serve and Alcohol and Gaming Commission regulations at all times.
• Communicate any guest concerns to a supervisor immediately.
• Adhere to the uniform & grooming standards at all times.
• Attend all meetings and training as required.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge
• A heightened passion for great food, beverages and exceptional service
• Advanced knowledge of international service etiquette
• Full comprehensive knowledge of the Smart Serve Program
• Advanced Mixology and Wine Knowledge
• Knowledge of Safe Food Handling and Sanitation
• Knowledge of liquor control Act and Cut Off policies & procedures
• Knowledge of electronic POS systems
Skills
• Advanced Service Abilities in a formal private dining settings
• Able to build and maintain effective relationships with team members and guests through a positive winning attitude – “Listen and Connect”

• Ability to speak Mandarin and Cantonese is considered an asset.
Education and Experience
• Smart Serve and Food Safety Handling certification required
• Minimum five (5) years experience related to food & beverage services in a restaurant dining room, lounge, bar or Casino environment.
• Minimum two ( 2) years experience related to formal service, dining or private club
• Must be required to obtain and maintain an A.G.C.O. License.
• Experience working in fast paced environment is a strong asset
Working Conditions
• Flexibility required as business is conducted during the evenings/overnight and /weekends
• Some physical requirements up to lifting 50lbs
• Occasional bending, carrying, climbing, lifting, pulling, pushing and reaching/ crouching
• Regular interruptions, multiple demands and time pressure
