The Senior Manager, Reporting & Business Performance is responsible for setting the strategy, operating model, and standards for reporting, analytics, and business performance measurement across the wagering organization. This role ensures that executive leadership and business teams have trusted, timely, and decision-ready insights to drive revenue growth, customer engagement, and operational efficiency. As the leader of the Reporting & Business Performance function, the Senior Manager oversees the end-to-end analytics lifecycle—from KPI definition and data governance through insight delivery and adoption. This role balances strategic leadership with hands-on oversight, partnering closely with wagering leadership, product, finance, and data engineering teams to align analytics priorities with business objectives

Responsibilities

Analytics Strategy, Roadmap & Operating Model

  • Define and own the reporting and business performance analytics strategy for the wagering business.
  • Establish a clear analytics roadmap aligned to corporate and wagering objectives.
  • Set standards for KPI frameworks, performance scorecards, and executive reporting.
  • Prioritize initiatives across dashboards, insights, and enablement based on business impact and capacity.
  • Ensure analytics efforts are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with enterprise BI strategy.

Executive & Business Partnership

  • Serve as the primary analytics partner to senior wagering leadership.
  • Translate strategic business questions into analytical approaches and insight frameworks.
  • Present insights, trends, and performance narratives to executives and leadership forums.
  • Proactively identify emerging risks, opportunities, and performance drivers using data.
  • Influence decision-making through clear storytelling, recommendations, and scenario analysis.

Team Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Manager, Reporting & Business Performance and broader analytics resources.
  • Set clear objectives, performance expectations, and development plans for direct reports.
  • Foster a culture of analytical rigor, curiosity, and accountability.
  • Ensure effective intake, prioritization, and delivery of analytics requests.
  • Identify future skill needs and support talent development or hiring as required.

Data Governance, Quality & Performance Measurement

  • Own KPI definitions, metric consistency, and enterprise-aligned reporting standards.

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and trust across all wagering analytics outputs.

  • Partner with data engineering and platform teams to resolve systemic data issues.

  • Oversee documentation of metrics, data sources, and reporting logic.

  • Ensure compliance with governance, privacy, and data usage standards.

Enablement, Adoption & Continuous Improvement

  • Champion self-serve analytics adoption and data literacy across the organization.

  • Ensure reporting solutions are intuitive, actionable, and widely used.

  • Measure adoption, usage, and business impact of analytics products.

  • Identify and implement process improvements, tooling enhancements, and automation opportunities.

  • Stay current with BI, analytics, and visualization best practices and apply them pragmatically

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline that provides strong grounding in data analysis, performance management, and business decision-making.
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive experience in analytics, reporting, business performance, or related functions, including senior-level responsibility for decision support and insight delivery.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of KPI design, performance measurement frameworks, and executive-level reporting.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, metric standardization, and analytical best practices within a regulated or enterprise environment.

Reason for vacancy: New Position

Salary range: $100,000-$115,000 per year
