What we need from you:

To be a passionate and engaging leader who will live and breathe our values and beliefs and take a surgical approach throughout our diverse property development initiatives. We will need you to be a project management champion and city and land planning specialist who will listen and connect with our stakeholders and aspire to  ‘wow every guest’.  With guest experience always at the forefront, you will develop and deliver innovative and effective land development solutions to meet our strategic imperatives and launch a new breed of experience at Woodbine.
Your first pivotal milestones will be to obtain the required municipal approvals and begin to draft the plan for the sub-division development. You will also create a development schedule and begin to execute on mixed use development activities for the 700 acres of Woodbine lands (commercial, residential, transit, institutional). Developing strong working relationships with potential partnership developers, investors, funding partners, development advisors and tenants will also be a critical success factor. 

What your day to day will look like:

Brand Ambassador. Relationship builder.  Site Planner. Project Manager.  These imperative functions will define your days. You will manage the scope and performance of our consultant teams and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. We will also need you to oversee the preparation of project proformas and prepare and present approval briefs and proposal scenarios, while also providing recommendations and periodic reporting on development activities.  Additionally we will need you to stay on top of market trends in the development industry and advise on how they can impact our vision.

Key Factors for your success:

We will need you to embody each of our values and beliefs, be passionate about our business and journey and have a relentless desire to provide a winning experience to all our stakeholders and guests.  A university degree in Engineering or Urban development/planning with 7 to 10 years of direct development experience are important for success. We will need you to be well-versed in property development management strategies, budget planning, contract preparation, resource allocation and financial monitoring.  We are looking for someone who loves what they do and is super excited about working on one of the coolest and compelling developments in the country!
