After a successful inaugural edition the Mohawk Million for two-year-old trotters will return in 2021. Mohawk Million will continue to follow a “buy-in” formula with a few minor changes made to the conditions. Details for the 2021 race include: Race date is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2021 Nine slots will be available for purchase Cost of each slot is reduced from $110,000 USD to $100,000 CAD Tenth and final slot will be awarded to the winner of the William Wellwood Memorial Purse for the 2021 Mohawk Million will be $1 million CAD Each slot is an entity that may be sold, traded or subject to lease Slot owners must declare a horse to race in their slot by Monday, September 20, 2021 at noon The winner of the race will receive the traditional 50 per cent of the purse All starters will receive at least one per cent of the purse Secure your Mohawk Million slot.
