MILTON, May 4, 2018 – On April 13, Woodbine’s leading owner Brad Grant announced he would be donating earnings from his horse Humboldt to the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s Player Assistance Program in the wake of the tragic Humboldt Broncos bus crash. A four-year-old pacer, Humboldt “the horse” has been doing his part to help the cause and Grant’s gracious offer was highlighted this week by The Canadian Press. The four-year-old bay gelding will be racing in the evening’s 7th Race and will look to add another $10,000 to his owner’s donation.
