MILTON, March 29, 2018 – Space came to Woodbine, Mohawk Park for a few hours on Wednesday (March 28) afternoon. It wasn’t aliens or UFO’s visiting the Campbellville oval, but rather the Space Channel and their crew from InnerSpace, a daily entertainment talk show that covers film, television, video games, technology, comic books and more. Teddy Wilson, a host of the show since 2009, got to try his hand at driving a racehorse along side World Driving Champion James MacDonald. Wilson got to go through the routine of a driver from picking his driving colours, suiting up in the Driver’s Room and then heading through the paddock to meet his horse. Retired-pacer Ruff Me Up, an Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society ambassador, got the assignment of taking Wilson around the track. Sitting in a double-seat jog cart, MacDonald gave Wilson some driving lessons while they toured the track several times before returning to everyone’s favourite spot…the winner’s circle. After getting cleaned up, it was MacDonald’s turn to step into Wilson’s world, as the pair battled it out in a game of Street Fighter 5 on PlayStation. The entire day from racetrack to video games was documented for the show. The feature with MacDonald is scheduled to air on next Tuesday’s (April 3) episode of InnerSpace at 7 p.m. The show repeats at 10:30 p.m. and then airs again on Wednesday, April 4 at 3:30 a.m., 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m on Space Channel. Check out some of the social media highlights from Teddy Wilson and InnerSpace’s visit to Woodbine, Mohawk Park. @teddypwilson from @spacechannel visited the track Wednesday and learned how to drive a racehorse from @jamesomac26.
