CAMPBELLVILLE, April 27 – The Mohawk Pick-5 has become one of the most popular wagers on the Woodbine Entertainment circuit and Thursday evening it was the subject of plenty of buzz. A total of $82,976 was wagered into the Pick-5 pool Thursday and at the conclusion of the five-races, just one ticket correctly selected all five-winners to score a significant payday of $70,530.22. The Pick-5 wager offers a minimum bet of $0.20 and a 15 per cent take out. The final odds of the five winning horses during the Pick-5 sequence were 7/2, 8/1, 22/1, 2/1 and 3/5. Thursday evening was the second card in a row to have a Pick-5 pool of more than $80,000. Through 9 cards this meet at Mohawk, the average pool size for the multi-leg wager has been $66,187.
