A look at some of the top highlights from the past weekend of racing at Mohawk. Doubleheader Trainer Dave Menary enjoyed a successful Saturday at Woodbine Mohawk Park, sending out the top two finishers in the night’s ninth contest before scoring again in the 11th. Bruno No No (1-5) and Brue Hanover (3-1) got the ball rolling for Menary with a pair of impressive efforts in the first half of the double dip, with the former finishing 1 ¼-lengths ahead of his stablemate. A 6-5 exacta paid $4 flat. Horizon Seelster kept the Menary momentum going two starts later, delivering a confident two-length tally with driver Louis-Philippe Roy in tow. At 5-1, she paid $13.70.
