The multiple O-Brien Award-winning driver got the party started with a 2 ¼-length victory courtesy of Better B Going in the second and capped it off with a two-length tally from Seriously Hanover in the sixth. MacDonald’s quintet of winners came for trainers Paul Court, Dave Menary, Dominic Gladu, Chantal Mitchell, and Garry Merner.
