Something’s ‘Brue-ing’

Brue Hanover, with Canada’s reigning driver of the year James MacDonald in tow, outdueled snowy conditions and five foes to win the first $40,000 Open Pace of the year at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

The impressive Saturday night showing propelled the 6-year-old son of Stay Hungry–Blind Ambition to a impressive  32-11-13 from 87 starts and north of $675,000 in lifetime purse earnings.

Trained by Dave Menary for owners Burke Racing Stable (Sylvia Burke) and Weaver Bruscemi (Mark Weaver and Mike Bruscemi), Brue Hanover, as the 1-2 choice, paid $3.
