MILTON, December 1, 2018 – Richard Moreau trainee Isitfridayyet picked up his first-career Preferred victory in Saturday’s $34,000 feature at Woodbine Mohawk Park. A field of eight older pacers battled over a ‘Sloppy’ track for this week’s edition of the Preferred. The early-scramble saw Regal Son clear to the top shortly after posting a :27 opening-quarter. Physicallyinclined, who left from the rail, was on the move from third at the first-quarter and rushed up to take the lead well-before reaching the half in :56.3. Isitfridayyet and driver Louis Philippe Roy got away sixth from post-eighth. The eventual winner angled out at the half and was situated third-over and a little more than four-lengths from the lead turning for home. Physicallyinclined continued to lead at three-quarters in 1:25.4. The stretch-drive was a wild scene with five-horses within nearly a length of the lead at the seven-eighths pole. Isitfridayyet powered off cover and charged by on the outside to win by a length and a half in 1:53.2. Regal Son came up the inside from the two-hole to finish second, while Rockin In Heaven came from second-over to grab third. Physicallyinclined gave up the lead in the lane but battled to finish fourth.
