MILTON, October 12, 2018 – The $1.8 million Ontario Sires Stakes Super Finals are set to be contested this Saturday night at Woodbine Mohawk Park. The finest two and three-year-olds in Ontario will compete in eight $225,000 championship races. The Super Finals will wrap up another exciting Ontario Sires Stakes season. Several of Saturday’s competitors have competed n Grand Circuit events and had success, while others have kept their focus on the OSS season. The OSS regular season consisted of five legs and competitors earned points based on their finish in each event. The OSS Standings were closely monitored by horsepeople, as only a max of 10 horses can compete in each $225,000 Super Final. Now that the draw is complete and the fields are set, the standings no longer mean anything and the title of OSS champion will need to be captured on the racetrack this Saturday. While top spot in the OSS regular season doesn’t earn you the championship, it is still an accomplishment.
