MILTON, December 22, 2025 – Christmas Week begins this evening at Woodbine Mohawk Park with a packed 12-race card to start a stretch of notable wagering opportunities. This week’s featured wager will be a mandatory payout for the Jackpot Hi-5 on Saturday night (December 27). Originally announced for Boxing Day, the mandatory payout is now set for Saturday with an overflow field of 12 to clash in Race 12. The Jackpot Hi-5 carryover currently sits at $189,705.70. The wager will continue to be offered tonight and Friday ahead of Saturday’s mandatory payout. The Jackpot Hi-5 requires horseplayers to select the top five finishers in order. A horseplayer can only win the entire jackpot if they hold the only winning ticket for that evening’s wager. If there are multiple winning tickets, half the pool is paid out, while the other half is added to the carryover. The Jackpot Hi-5 has a 20-cent minimum and a 15 percent takeout. Tonight’s final card ahead of Christmas features 12-races and big fields throughout. Prior to scratches, nine of the 12 races are full fields of 10, while the other three races are fields of nine. The $75,000 Early Pick-5 will launch tonight’s card in Race 1 with a Mid Pick-5 to start Race 6 and a Late Pick-5 in Race 8. To download tonight’s program, click here. Post time is 6:35 p.m. Horseplayers will have no time for a Christmas hangover as Woodbine Mohawk Park will offer its annual Boxing Day matinee program on Friday.
