CAMPBELLVILLE, July 24 – Woodbine Entertainment Group (WEG) today announced an increase to the guaranteed pool for the Standardbred Pick-5. Effective Thursday, July 27, the Standardbred Pick-5 at Mohawk Racetrack will now have a guaranteed pool of $50,000. The Standardbred Pick-5, which features a $0.20 minimum wager and a low 15 per cent takeout, has become the most popular wager on the circuit. The Pick-5 was added to the Standardbred wagering menu in October of 2015 and begins nightly in Race 1. The average Pick-5 payout for a $1 ticket over the last 10 cards has been $5,321.97 ($1,064.39 for a $0.20 ticket). Live racing is offered every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Mohawk. Post time is 7:30 p.m. Share This:Share
