CAMPBELLVILLE, May 11 – The first weekend of May saw many Pepsi North America Cup eligible horses race and this weekend will also be a busy one. Last Saturday afternoon at The Meadows, four Pennsylvania Sires Stakes divisions were contested and all four divisions were won by NA Cup eligible horses. Winter-favourites Huntsville (1:50.3) and Downbytheseaside (1:52.1) were victorious over a "Sloppy" track, while Fear The Dragon (1:52.1) and Filibuster Hanover (1:52.2) took the other two divisions. Last Monday was a busy day at Mohawk Racetrack. 11 eligible horses qualified, including Ideal Wheel (1:53.4), Sports Column (1:55.2) and Beyond Delight (1:56), who were all victorious. During the evening, five NA Cup eligible three-year-olds competed on the 10-race card, including Lawrencetown Beach, who won in 1:53.1.
