MILTON, July 7, 2021 – Woodbine Entertainment is excited to announce the launch of its new Standardbred Racing Internship for the 2021 season at Woodbine Mohawk Park. The Standardbred Racing Internship will provide the selected candidates the opportunity to pursue their potential and experience the thrill of horse racing through the day-to-day operations of the Racing Department. Woodbine will be looking to fill two internship positions. Each selected candidate will spend 16 weeks working in all facets of the Racing Department. The position will introduce the selected candidates to Standardbred racing and take them through race office management and race night operations. The selected candidates will learn and assist in all areas, including the Race Office, Stakes Manager, Bookkeeper, Charter, Placing Judge and Paddock operations.
