MILTON, October 26, 2018 – Woodbine Entertainment today announced details for a quartet of Winter Series to be raced at Woodbine Mohawk Park. The Niagara Series and Valedictory Series will take place during the month of December and conclude on Boxing Day (December 26). The Blizzard Series and Snowshoe Series begin in mid-January and will wrap up on February 1. Each series consists of two $17,000 preliminary legs and a $30,000 added final. The nomination fee for each series is $200 ($160 USD). Nominations close on Monday, December 3. The conditions and dates for each series are listed below: Niagara Series (December 13, 20, 26) Three-Year-Old Pacing Fillies in 2018, Non-Winners of $60,000 lifetime as of midnight, October 31, 2018. No Allowances. Valedictory Series (December 10, 17, 26) Three-Year-Old Pacing Colts & Geldings in 2018, Non-Winners of $60,000 lifetime as of midnight, October 31, 2018. No Allowances. Blizzard Series (January 17, 24, February 1) Three & Four-Year-Old Pacing Fillies & Mares in 2019, Non-Winners of Two Races or $30,000 lifetime as of midnight, October 31, 2018. No Allowances. Snowshoe Series (January 18, 25, February 1) Three & Four-Year-Old Pacing Colts, Horses & Geldings in 2019, Non-Winners of Two Races or $30,000 lifetime as of midnight, October 31, 2018.
