Parry Sound marks the next destination for Champions Off-Track Betting

November 19, 2014

Toronto, November 19, 2014 – Woodbine Entertainment Group (WEG) today announced the latest location to join the Champions Off-Track Betting teletheatre network.

The newest site to partner with Champions is The Brunswick Hotel Complex located at 72 James Street in Parry Sound. The Grand Opening is set for Saturday, November 22 when horseplayers will be offered free programs, great food specials and wearable giveaways. Customers will also have a chance at $100 daily Instant Win prizes.
The venue will again give horse racing fans a chance to watch and wager on live Thoroughbred and Standardbred racing from tracks across the world including Woodbine and Mohawk, right in their own neighbourhood.
"Its an exciting time for Champions and the horseplayers of Parry Sound as Off-Track Betting makes its return home to The Brunswick,” said Tom Papakonstantinou, WEG’s General Manager, Ontario Operations, Champions Off-Track Betting. "For a few months, the city has been without a Teletheatre and we’re pleased it has returned to the very same site again allowing fans of Parry Sound to watch and wager on great simulcast racing.”
