Toronto, December 4 – Woodbine Entertainment Group (WEG) today launched an exciting new feature on its BetAtChampions.com website.
A Champions site locator has been created for horse racing fans that can’t make it to the racetrack, but still want to wager on live Thoroughbred and Standardbred racing from across the world right in their own neighbourhood.
Customers can now search by region, city and postal code to find their closest Champions outlet.
“The locator allows customers to identify their nearest Champions by city or postal code which then populates all listings by closest distance and directions to that venue,” said Tom Papakonstantinou, WEG’s General Manager, Ontario Operations, Champions Off-Track Betting. “It’s a great tool for horseplayers to use when they are unsure about where the nearest outlet might be on our growing network, which now has over 40 locations.”
In April 2014, WEG was named the single operator of Teletheatres in Ontario. This has allowed a consolidation of all the provinces off-track operations under WEG’s Champions Off-Track Betting brand.
