Champions Off-Track Betting brings the excitement to Georgetown

June 9, 2015

Toronto, June 8 – Woodbine Entertainment Group (WEG) today announced the latest location to join the Champions Off-Track Betting network. This addition puts the teletheatre count to over 45 venues across the province.

The newest site to join the chain is Time Out Sports and Taps, located at 68 Main Street North in Georgetown. The Grand Opening is scheduled for Saturday, June 20 when horseplayers will be offered a number of incentives for their attendance such as free racing programs, great food specials and wearable giveaways. Customers will also have a chance at winning $100 “Daily Instant Win” prizes. That day also marks the 32nd edition of the Pepsi North America Cup at Mohawk Racetrack.
"We are pleased to announce the newest member of the Champions Off Track Betting family,” said Tom Papakonstantinou, WEG’s General Manager, Ontario Operations, Champions Off-Track Betting. “Time Out Sports and its partnership with WEG’s wagering arm will be a hit among horseplayers in the Halton Hills area. We look forward to the success of the business with this new venture in Georgetown Ontario.”
In April 2014, WEG was named the single operator of Teletheatres in Ontario. This has allowed a consolidation of all the province’s off-track operations under WEG’s Champions Off-Track Betting label.
