June 14 – Woodbine Entertainment, a Canadian leader in world-class horseracing and entertainment, is launching an important next generation marketing, technology and communication tool this week.
The free Woodbine Racetrack App is now available for download in the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Android) and will provide users with the information they need to get the most out of their time at Woodbine Racetrack.
Through the app, users will be able to make reservations, buy tickets, get the latest information on upcoming Woodbine events, learn to play horse racing and pick winners while exploring the Woodbine Racetrack facility.
Users will also receive exclusive offers tailored to their interests as well as a first bet offer.
“Having a new way to engage our guests is very exciting and something that all WEG employees can get behind,” said Andrew Faria, Senior Manager, Marketing. “This version is only the beginning and we expect new features and capabilities to roll out as the technology evolves, as well as branching out to our other facilities like Mohawk.”
The launch of the Woodbine Racetrack App further demonstrates the company’s commitment to technology and innovation. Woodbine Entertainment, iBoost and Ryerson University’s Office of the Vice President, Research and Innovation collaborated in 2016 for Horse Racing 3.0: Changing the Game, which challenged Canadian start-ups, entrepreneurs, developers and students to use technology to help bring the traditional sport of Horse Racing to the next level.
