TORONTO, October 30 – Woodbine Entertainment CEO, Jim Lawson, has been confirmed as a speaker for the 10th Annual PrimeTime Sports Management Conference & Trade Show.
On November 13 and 14, more than 60 sports industry leaders along with over 500 attendees will convene at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel for the tenth edition of the conference and trade show that aims to provide members of the sports industry with an opportunity to work with and learn from leading industry experts.
Mr. Lawson, who also serves as Chairman of the Canadian Football League, will be part of a panel discussing, The Great Debate – Should Tax Payer Funds be Used to Build Sporting Facilities? He will be joined on the panel by Brian Burke (President of Hockey Operations, Calgary Flames), Rick Horrow (CEO, Horrow Sports Ventures) and Richard Peddie (Former President & Chief Executive Officer, MLSE) which will be moderated by Gord Miller (Play-By-Play Announcer, TSN).
