The 2016 Corporate Responsibility Report Is Now Available

TORONTO, December 1 – Woodbine Entertainment has released its 2016 Corporate Responsibility Report.

Based on the latest data from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017, the report provides insight into key company initiatives and achievements.

“This report reinforces our commitment to responsible corporate citizenry by highlighting our actions and performance over the past fiscal year across our six core areas of focus,” said Jim Lawson, CEO, Woodbine Entertainment. “It also sets the stage to introduce our plans to unlock the promise of our future, as we continue to work towards delivering our mandate to sustain a vibrant horse racing industry while securing sustainable economic, social and environmental success.”

Report highlights include details on Woodbine Entertainment’s world-class racing, guest experience, environmental stewardship, and employee engagement strategies. Additionally, the report features many examples of how the company positively impacts the communities that it operates in while fostering a culture of innovation to create a sustainable future for horse racing in Ontario.
