Woodbine Entertainment Featured on the 2018 Best Workplaces in Retail and Hospitality List!

February 6, 2018

TORONTO, February 6 – Woodbine Entertainment has been named to the 2018 list of best workplaces in retail and hospitality. Woodbine Entertainment received the honour after being certified as a Great Place to Work in January, a designation established through thorough and independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work®.

The list of the 20 Best Workplaces in Retail and Hospitality is based on direct feedback from employees of the hundreds of organizations that were surveyed by Great Place to Work®. The data has a 90% confidence and a plus or minus 5% margin of error.

Analysis of the data to compile this list focused on the following considerations:

• For eligibility, companies must be Great Place to Work™ certified in the past year and have a minimum of 25 employees
• Great Place to Work® determined the best workplaces based the overall employee experience (Trust Index) score of eligible organizations

“Being recognized as a best-in-class employer is a great honour,” said Jim Lawson, CEO Woodbine Entertainment. “At Woodbine, we strive to make the workplace environment one that makes our employees proud to work for and to be noticed for that is special. By investing in our people, we can be more efficient, innovative and committed to offering an exceptional guest experience that will ultimately result in a sustainable future for horse racing in Ontario.”
