Be a part of Harness Racing’s richest race for two-year-olds!
After a successful inaugural edition the Mohawk Million for two-year-old trotters will return in 2021.
Mohawk Million will continue to follow a “buy-in” formula with a few minor changes made to the conditions.
Details for the 2021 race include:
- Race date is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2021
- Nine slots will be available for purchase
- Cost of each slot is reduced from $110,000 USD to $100,000 CAD
- Tenth and final slot will be awarded to the winner of the William Wellwood Memorial
- Purse for the 2021 Mohawk Million will be $1 million CAD
- Each slot is an entity that may be sold, traded or subject to lease
- Slot owners must declare a horse to race in their slot by Monday, September 20, 2021 at noon
- The winner of the race will receive the traditional 50 per cent of the purse
- All starters will receive at least one per cent of the purse

Pepsi North America Cup to air nationally on PrimeTime Racing
MILTON, June 13, 2025 – PrimeTime Racing, produced by Cujo Entertainment, returns to the air on Saturday night for a national broadcast of the Pepsi North America Cup from Woodbine Mohawk Park in Campbellville, Ontario on Game+ Network. PrimeTime Racing will launch on Game+ at 10 p.m. ET for live coverage of the $390,000 Fan Hanover Stakes and the $1 Million Pepsi North America Cup. Chantilly scratched from Fan Hanover
MILTON, June 13, 2025 – Chantilly, 2024 Canadian Horse of the Year, has been scratched from tomorrow night’s Fan Hanover Stakes at Woodbine Mohawk Park. Trainer Nick Gallucci informed the Woodbine Standardbred Race Office on Friday afternoon that the undefeated filly would be scratched from the $390,000 Fan Hanover due to sickness. The also eligible Duration will not be drawing in. A homebred for Millar Farms, Chantilly is a perfect 12 for 12 in her racing career and has earned over $915,000. Thursday’s Qualifiers Delayed to 11 a.m.
MILTON, June 12, 2025 – This morning’s qualifiers at Woodbine Mohawk Park have been delayed until 11 a.m. due to a fire in the area. A large fire last night and overnight at the scrap yard beside Mohawk caused heavy smoke over the racetrack. It also led to road being closed in the area. Woodbine has decided to delay the start of today’s qualifiers to 11 a.m. to allow the air to improve and roads to reopen. The air around Mohawk is improving by the hour and qualifiers will be good to proceed at the new time.

Breakfast for Racing Participants at Woodbine Mohawk Park
MILTON, June 10, 2025– Woodbine Mohawk Park is pleased to announce a complimentary breakfast for racing participants (Owner’s Breakfast) will be held on Saturday, June 21 during 2-Year-Old Qualifiers. The breakfast will be held outside at the new Railside Deck beginning at 9:30 a.m. A variety of hot foods featuring a pancake breakfast will be available along with a selection of juices and coffee. This event is open to all racing participants and Woodbine’s racing leaders will be in attendance. RSVP is not required.
