Be a part of Harness Racing’s richest race for two-year-olds!

After a successful inaugural edition the Mohawk Million for two-year-old trotters will return in 2021.

Mohawk Million will continue to follow a “buy-in” formula with a few minor changes made to the conditions.

Details for the 2021 race include:

  • Race date is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2021
  • Nine slots will be available for purchase
  • Cost of each slot is reduced from $110,000 USD to $100,000 CAD
  • Tenth and final slot will be awarded to the winner of the William Wellwood Memorial
  • Purse for the 2021 Mohawk Million will be $1 million CAD
  • Each slot is an entity that may be sold, traded or subject to lease
  • Slot owners must declare a horse to race in their slot by Monday, September 20, 2021 at noon
  • The winner of the race will receive the traditional 50 per cent of the purse
  • All starters will receive at least one per cent of the purse

Breakfast for Racing Participants at Woodbine Mohawk Park

MILTON, June 10, 2025– Woodbine Mohawk Park is pleased to announce a complimentary breakfast for racing participants (Owner’s Breakfast) will be held on Saturday, June 21 during 2-Year-Old Qualifiers. The breakfast will be held outside at the new Railside Deck beginning at 9:30 a.m. A variety of hot foods featuring a pancake breakfast will be available along with a selection of juices and coffee. This event is open to all racing participants and Woodbine’s racing leaders will be in attendance. RSVP is not required.

Post Positions Drawn for the 42nd Pepsi North America Cup

MILTON, June 9, 2025 – Louprint, the expected favourite, landed post-4 for Saturday’s $1 million Pepsi North America Cup (Grade 1) at the Post Position Draw on Monday evening. Elimination winners Lite Up The World, Captain Optimistic, and Louprint were guaranteed to land a post anywhere from two to six. MILTON, June 8, 2025 – Woodbine Mohawk Park will host the post-position draw for the 42nd Pepsi North America Cup on Monday at 5 p.m. All connections of the 10 qualified horses for the $1 million race are invited to attend the draw, which will be held on the main floor of the Grandstand.
