Be a part of Harness Racing’s richest race for two-year-olds!

After a successful inaugural edition the Mohawk Million for two-year-old trotters will return in 2021.

Mohawk Million will continue to follow a “buy-in” formula with a few minor changes made to the conditions.

Details for the 2021 race include:

  • Race date is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2021
  • Nine slots will be available for purchase
  • Cost of each slot is reduced from $110,000 USD to $100,000 CAD
  • Tenth and final slot will be awarded to the winner of the William Wellwood Memorial
  • Purse for the 2021 Mohawk Million will be $1 million CAD
  • Each slot is an entity that may be sold, traded or subject to lease
  • Slot owners must declare a horse to race in their slot by Monday, September 20, 2021 at noon
  • The winner of the race will receive the traditional 50 per cent of the purse
  • All starters will receive at least one per cent of the purse

Mohawk Racebook expanding hours to 7 days-a-week

MILTON, July 7, 2025 – Woodbine Mohawk Park is pleased to announce expanded summer hours for its Racebook, beginning Sunday, July 13. The Woodbine Mohawk Park Racebook will now be open seven days-a-week, opening each day at Noon. The Racebook will be open until the end of live racing every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It will also be open until 8 p.m. on Sundays and Wednesdays.
