Crowning achievement

Kings Lady, trained by Chantal Mitchell, broke her maiden in style on Sunday night.

Driven by Mark MacDonald, who also won with Lyons Bulldog in the fourth race that evening, the daughter of King of the North gutted out a gritty head score in 1:57.1 to secure her milestone victory.

Owned by James Crawford and bred by Glengate Farms, Kings Lady paid $52.70 for the spirited win.
