CAMPBELLVILLE, July 31 – The Mohawk Race Office would like to remind horsepeople of tomorrow evening’s (Tuesday, August 1) early post-time of 6 p.m.
The early post-time is due to the RCMP Musical Ride performance taking place during Tuesday’s card of racing at Mohawk Racetrack.
The first-race will go at 6 p.m. and it is expected that the opening five-races will be completed by 7:30 p.m. There will then be a 90 minute break for warm ups and the RCMP Musical Ride performance.
Racing will resume with the sixth-race at approximately 9 p.m.
Horsepeople are reminded to double check the entries and overnight sheet for paddock and Lasix times.
The RCMP Musical Ride is a ticketed event, therefore horsepeople are advised to go through the paddock when attending Tuesday’s card of racing.
The RCMP Musical Ride will also have a performance on Wednesday afternoon at Mohawk. Due to the daytime performance, the paddock and track will only be available for training from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
