It was a hearty showing from the sophomore son Big Jim–Off The Shoulder, who after jumping out to an early lead, dug in deep to maintain his advantage through the wire. The half-length tally was Letr Sink Son’s fourth from 12 starts lifetime (4-1-2; $57,706) for trainer Boyd Wilson, who co-owns the black gelding with Randy Wilson. P L Sapphire, a 4-year-old daughter of Father Patrick, sprung a 50-1 shocker in race three on Sunday night. Driven by Tyler Jones, the trotting miss dug in late to secure a head score in a career best 1:54.0. It was the first victory of 2026 and fourth overall by the Katie Huskinson trainee.
