Woodbine Entertainment Group (WEG) and the Central Ontario Standardbred Association (COSA), pleased with the $116,000 wagered into last Saturday’s $100,000 guaranteed early Pick-4 pool at Woodbine, has raised the guarantee on Saturday nights for the rest of the month.
Originally offered as a $75,000 guarantee on the early Pick-4 for the other Saturday nights in April (9, 16, 23, 30), the guarantee will now be $100,000.
“Customers recognized there was very good value in our $100,000 guaranteed early Pick-4 on Saturday and were attracted to playing,” said Jamie Martin, WEG’s Executive Vice President of Racing on behalf of the WEG-COSA partnership. “Given the results, we think it makes sense to continue the guarantee for the near future.”
The early Pick-4 payoff on Saturday returned $578.95 for a $1 bet.
A $50,000 guaranteed early Pick-4 will continue on Monday evenings as will the $40,000 minimum pots on the other race nights.
