Woodbine Mohawk Park to host women’s driving race Monday

MILTON, August 9, 2022 – Woodbine Mohawk Park announced today it will host a special race for women drivers during next Monday’s (August 15) card of live racing.

The race will mark the second time this season Woodbine has hosted a race featuring an entire field of women drivers. The first race on March 7 was won by defending Ontario Women’s Driving Championship winner Natasha Day.

The following drivers will participate in Monday’s race.

Jesse Turenne
​Samara Johnson
​Britt Kennedy
​Debi O’Brien-Moran
​Maggie Jones
​Natasha Day
​Julie Walker
​Marie-Claude Auger
​Anita Ouellette
​Kayla Chappell
​Marielle Enberg (Also Eligible #1)
​Pam Forgie (Also Eligible #2)

The draw for Monday’s card will take place this Thursday. The women’s driving race will also feature an enhanced purse.
