Sunday Racing Begins This Weekend
MILTON, October 30, 2025 – The live racing schedule at Woodbine Mohawk Park is set to shift this weekend with Sunday evenings added to the mix. Sunday evening racing will be held through November and December at the Campbellville oval, except on December 21. Post time remains 6:35 p.m. This Sunday’s (November 2) 10-race card is highlighted by a $40,000 Open Trot, featuring Breeders Crown finalists Amigo Volo and Logan Park. MILTON, October 29, 2025 – Twice a month, Woodbine Mohawk Park will profile a Standardbred connected to the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society (OSAS). Founded in 1996, OSAS is an approved charitable organization committed to assisting in the adoption and relocation of retired and non-racing Standardbred horses within Ontario. A primary mandate of the program is to showcase the versatility of the breed to horse lovers unfamiliar with harness horses. The program, which strives to educate and assist in the retraining and management of Standardbreds, relies heavily on volunteers and temporary foster homes to carry out its mission. Breeders Crown Charity Challenge raises $450,000
MILTON, October 28, 2025 – The 2025 Breeders Crown Charity Challenge concluded this past weekend with $450,000 donated to charities local to Woodbine Mohawk Park, bringing the total dollars raised through the initiative to over $2.4 million since 2019. Spearheaded by prominent owner Marvin Katz, the Breeders Crown Charity Challenge began in 2019 and has annually raised funds for charities in the Breeders Crown host community. The funds are raised within the harness racing industry through the generosity of its participants.
