August 9, 2018

TORONTO, August 9, 2018 – Ontario Racing, in partnership with Woodbine Mohawk Park, The Raceway at Western Fair District and Flamboro Downstoday announced two new Late Closing stakes for Ontario Sired two and three-year-old horses.

The new Ontario Sired events, the Autumn Series and the Harvest Series, will be offered this fall and worth more than $740,000.

“It’s very important that we have a healthy Ontario Sired program,” said Bill McLinchey, Woodbine’s Director of Standardbred Racing, who led the development of the series.
