MILTON, May 6, 2025 – The entry box for this year’s SBOA Stakes at Woodbine Mohawk Park closed Tuesday with eliminations needed in two of the four divisions. The SBOA Stakes for Ontario sired three-year-olds will require eliminations for both trotting events, while the pacing events will proceed directly to the final on Saturday, May 17. Canadian Horse of the Year Chantilly was one of 11 to enter the SBOA Filly Pace, which pushes the highly anticipated season debut of the undefeated Nick Gallucci trainee to the May 17 final. Chantilly went a perfect nine for nine in her two-year-old season and drew off-season headlines when owner/breeder Millar Farms made her eligible to the Pepsi North America Cup. With no elimination race this weekend, it’s likely Chantilly will prep for the final with another qualifier this Friday.
