CAMPBELLVILLE, August 18 – Spirit To Win trotted the fastest mile by a two-year-old this year in Canada to capture the final of the Pure Ivory Series Monday night at Mohawk Racetrack. In the stretch, Spirit To Win blew by Southwind Champane and cruised to a 4 ¾ length victory in a season’s best 1:55.3. Southwind Champane held on for second, while Allies Gift was third and Drinksonthehouse rounded out the field in fourth.
