CAMPBELLVILLE, June 9 – This weekly feature offers a look back at the best Standardbred performances of the week by the Pepsi North America Cup eligibles.

#5 – Dutch Richman on Saturday, June 4 at Balmoral Park, Race #9 – The Erv Miller-trained Dutch Richman won the $54,500 Cardinal Stake. Driven by son Marcus, the pair got under the wire in 1:51.3.

#4 – Bestofbest Hanover on Saturday, June 4 at Mohawk Racetrack, Race #7 – Bestofbest Hanover won the second division of the Somebeachsomewhere Stakes in a 7-1 upset for trainer Daniel Martin.  The Jack Moiseyev-driven sophomore stopped the teletimer in 1:51.2.

#3 – Big Bad John on Friday, June 3 at The Meadows, Race #6 – Big Bad John took the $210,234 Pennsylvania Sires Stake over fellow, N.A. Cup eligible, Custard The Dragon who finished second.  The Ronald Potter pupil stopped the clock in 1:50.3 with Brett Miller in the bike.  The bay won by three and three-quarter lengths pacing the final quarter in a sizzling :26-seconds.

#2 – Roll With Joe on Saturday, June 4 at Mohawk Racetrack, Race #9 – The Edward Hart-trained Roll With Joe held off heavy favourite, Betterthancheddar in the final $100,000 division of the Somebeachsomewhere Stakes.  The son of Cams Card Shark took the victory by three-quarters of a length in 1:49.3, a career-best clocking.

#1 – Up The Credit on Saturday, June 4 at Mohawk Racetrack, Race #3 – In a shocker, Up The Credit captured his division of the Somebeachsomewhere Stakes.  The Carl Jamieson trainee beat out the 1-9 favourite, Big Jim. As a 10-1 longshot, the Western Terror colt paced home in a career-best and stakes record clocking of 1:49.
