VICTORY ‘ROAD’ #5 – Saturday, December 3; Race 3; Autumn Stakes elim (3YOCP) – Road Untraveled rallied from off-the-pace to score the Autumn Stakes elimination for sophomore pacing colts in a 28-1 upset. Click here to watch the video replay – December 3; Race 3 VERY ARTFUL #4 – Monday, December 5; Race 10 – After tasting defeat for the first time last week, Curator is back to his winning ways. The three-year-old gelding, who is trained by Jack Darling, romped in his conditioned event scoring by five and a quarter lengths. The victory also gave driver Billy Davis, Jr. a hat trick, his first on the WEG circuit. Click here to watch the video replay – December 5; Race 10 SLIM ‘SHADYS’ #3 – Thursday, December 1; Race 7; Autumn Stakes elim (2YOFP) – The George Hunt-trained Shadys M Three captured her Autumn Stakes elim for freshman pacing fillies by a nose in a new mark of 1:55.4. The bay rallied from the back of the pack with driver Chris Christoforou in the bike. The victory also meant that Christoforou swept both eliminations. Click here to read more. Click here to watch the video replay – December 1; Race 7 SAFTIC PAINTS WINNING PICTURE #2 – Friday, December 2; Race 5; Autumn Stakes elim (3YOFP) – Driver Mike Saftic and Shadys Art pulled off a shocker in the first Autumn Stakes elim for sophomore pacing fillies. At odds of 22-1, the George Hunt pupil won the lion’s share of the $25,000 purse in 1:54.1. Shadys Art paid $46.80 to win. Saftic then went on to capture the second elim with Machs Delicacy. Click here to watch the video replay – December 2; Race 5 CHECK OUT ‘MARK’ … HE’S ON A ROLL #1 – Saturday, December 3; Race 11; Preferred Pace – Sparky Mark extended his win streak to five after capturing the $38,000 Preferred Pace in another sub-1:50 mile.
