MILTON, April 12, 2018 – Woodbine Mohawk Park would like to encourage all horsepeople and fans attending Thursday’s season opening card to wear a sports jersey in support of “Jersey Day”. Canadians across the country are taking part in “Jersey Day” by wearing their favourite jersey to work and school to honour the Humboldt Broncos, who tragically lost 16 members of their team and staff in a bus crash last Friday. Woodbine Mohawk Park will be holding a moment of a silence ahead of Thursday’s opening race in memory of the Broncos. All horsepeople are invited to gather in the winner’s circle for the moment of a silence.
