The 2024 edition will mark the 165th running of the prestigious $1 million-stakes race, historically named in honour of the reigning monarch. One of the highest-profile events in Canadian sports, The Plate is the first leg of the Canadian Triple Crown and is followed by the Prince of Wales Stakes run at Fort Erie Race Track, and the Breeders’ Stakes run at Woodbine Racetrack.
Be sure to stick around for an evening of LIVE standardbred racing in one of our two signature restaurants. We will be live streaming the King’s Plate race Saturday evening.
