MILTON, December 3, 2018 – Woodbine Mohawk Park is excited to bring back “Monday Twitter Challenge” for a second season beginning tonight (December 3). The second season of “Monday Twitter Challenge” will require racing fans on Twitter to watch for the announcement of the “Contest Race” each Monday at 4 p.m. and then reply to the Tweet with their selection in the race. The scoring system is based on a mythical $2 Win-Place-Show wager with the players bankroll growing throughout the season based on the results of their selections. The Regular Season begins December 3, 2018 and concludes on February 18, 2019. The top 16 players at the end of the Regular Season will advance to the Playoffs. The Playoff participants will be seeded based on their finish in the Regular Season and participate in a bracket-style post-season. The Playoff rounds will require players to select a horse in three-races on the card and the player with the higher bankroll at the end of the night will advance to the next round. The Playoffs start February 25, 2019 and conclude on March 18, 2019. Players can join any week during the Regular Season and do not need to make a selection each week to be eligible for the Playoffs. The 16 players with the highest bankrolls at the end of the Regular Season advance to the Playoffs. Results and Standings will be posted each Tuesday.
